OMG! Soooo good. A Malaysian neighbour introduced me to Kaya and l have made it myself but this one is better and probably lasts longer. If l don’t gorge it all down in one sitting. Brilliant on toast for breakfast. Or lunch. Or dinner. Or supper. Or afternoon tea or morning tea or midnight snacks. 😋

After living in Singapore and this being the Australian equivalent of vegemite, it’s great that Asian Pantry stocks the Kaya Coconut jam.

The jam is creamy, silky texture, perfect on the sourdough toast each morning. What is really delicious is to add a slice of cheese.

I originally tried this 10 years ago in Singapore and recently when in Borneo found it again. I usually buy a jar and bring it back with me however not being able to travel I was lucky to be able to find the product on line. Happy that I can spread it over my pancakes again for Breakfast

Kaya is a must have spread! It's sweet, but not too sweet. Eat it straight out of a spoon, or on a piece of toast. Wish these were more readily accessible in supermarkets.
